Since age 14, Mat "The Condor" Hoffman has been inventing tricks and doing seemingly impossible things on a BMX bike. When The Condor isn't hovering 13 feet over a vert ramp, he's still up to his neck in BMX. Back in '91, he started Hoffman Bikes: now one of the biggest companies in BMX. After the 2001 X Games, Hoffman claimed that he might retire from the vert competition circuit--but don't think he's done with vert just yet.
