In Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny, players experience a new epic story line and participate in a bitter struggle for power. Behind the conflict are the war-like Viamontians and their calculating, ruthless king, Varicci II. Also, powerful figures of Dereth who hid in the shadows in years past will be thrust to the forefront of the burgeoning revolution to help define Dereth's new destiny. The third installment of the original Asheron's Call series features an exhaustive amount of new game play to compliment the massive amounts of existing episodic content. Players can now choose to play Asheron's Call as a warlike Viamontian, which have long been the scourge of the nations of Ispar. The Viamontians' bids for continental domination have finally resulted in a rapidly expanding kingdom under the leadership of King Varicci.
